Brian Bucher Most Improved Runner Award

This award is named after the 1993 Centerville High School graduate and 4 year runner Brian Bucher.  Brian also coached the middle school program from 1999-2006 winning numerous invitationals, but most importantly instilling values and winning attitudes in hundreds of middle school runners.  Brian's legacy included running personal bests of 1989 (freshmen year) of 21:08, 1990 (sophomore year) 18:10, 1991 (junior year) 16:55, and senior year in 1992 with a time of 16:06.  Brian's dedication and improvement over the 4 years he was in high school is what Centerville Cross Country is about:  hard work and dedication.  Brian finished out his career by missing out at the state meet with a 18th place finish at the regional meet in 1992.
